The Tech4Life team have been involved in research since the early 1970s. Both principals have PhD degrees, and our work is founded on sound science and evidence.
In recent years we’ve conducted focus groups, reviews and surveys. In 2014 that work has included work for the World Health Organisation:
- Survey of Needs for Assistive and Medical Devices for Older People in Six Countries of the WHO Western Pacific Region (on behalf of Motivation Australia)
- Preparation of a Literature Review (with Johan Borg & Chapal Khasnabis) on Assistive Technology and an Ageing Population. (in review)
The Practical Design Fund projects we undertook in 2013 also involved substantial research – primarily qualitative. (see Policy page)
